The Ambassador-Designate Presents Copies of His Letters of Credence

On Thursday, 30 July 2026, His Excellency, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (Rtd.), Ambassador-Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of the Philippines, presented copies of his Letters of Credence (copie d’usage) to His Excellency, Ariel R. Peñaranda, Assistant Secretary (Chief of Protocol) at the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines.

The Ambassador-Designate was accompanied by Ms. Regina Aondona, Minister (Deputy Head of Mission), and Mr. Obinna Onyima, Counsellor (Political and Economic).

The formal presentation of Letters of Credence to His Excellency, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, will take place as soon as the President’s schedule permits.
