Celebration of Philippines-Africa Ties at the Department of Foreign Affairs

On 4 June 2025, Mr. Adeshina Edward Oloje, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., along with fellow home-based officers, attended the Celebration of Philippines-Africa Ties held at the Double Dragon Tower, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Manila.

Organised by the DFA’s Office of Middle East and African Affairs, the event showcased the enduring friendship and deepening cooperation between the Philippines and African nations. It served as a platform to promote stronger diplomatic ties, cultural exchange and future collaborative initiatives.

A highlight of the celebration was a vibrant cultural dance performance by nine Nigerian students, which captivated the audience and symbolised the shared cultural richness and diversity of Africa.
