The Ambassador-Designate Pays a Courtesy Call at the Department of Foreign Affairs

His Excellency, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (Rtd.), Ambassador-Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of the Philippines, paid a courtesy call on the Undersecretary for Policy, His Excellency Leo Herrera-Lim, and the Assistant Secretary of the Office of Middle East and African Affairs, Germinia Aguilar-Usudan, of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines.

The Ambassador-Designate was accompanied by Amb. Regina K. Aondona, Deputy Head of Mission, and Mr. Mitchell Apiri Alamina, First Secretary (Economy) of the Embassy.

The visit was in furtherance of bilateral relations between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of the Philippines. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.
