Scam alert
It has come to our attention that some individuals are charging money to update or renew passports. Payments for a Passport Intervention Exercise are accepted only at the venue of the exercise, by the Nigeria Immigration Service, after biometric and data capture. Payment is in US dollars (cash) only.
Correspondence with the Embassy should only be through official emails: embassy@nigeria-manila.org and manilanigeria@gmail.com. Please ignore messages from any other address and help us by reporting such scammers to the Embassy.
New passport applications open only during Passport Intervention Exercises. Nigerians with expired or expiring passports should renew at the next exercise, as the Embassy no longer grants passport extensions. Dates, venue and schedule will be posted here and in Notices.

At the venue
Arrive on time
Come on your appointed day and time. Applicants without an appointment for that day will be attended to only after those with confirmed appointments.
Transport
Personal cars are not allowed into the venue. Please make alternative arrangements.
Conduct and dress
Maintain order and courtesy, observe any health protocols in force, and dress appropriately to avoid being refused entry.
Lost passport
Bring a court affidavit, a police report and a photocopy of the data page. If the Bureau of Immigration holds your passport, bring proof of receipt.
Change of data
All changes of data must currently be completed in Nigeria, and the applicant must be physically present.
